Abstract RU 2154890 C1

FIELD: accelerating solid body (armature) relative to large mass. SUBSTANCE: accelerator has N pairs of rails separated by insulating gaps and N-1 fixed current-conducting jumper. Relation between structure dimensions and specifications is optimized. In addition, fixed jumpers are connected in parallel with old ones and mounted in same plane with the latter over outer perimeter of accelerator channel cross-sectional area. Half of even-numbered fixed jumpers are mounted in pairs on free outer semi-perimeter in same plane as those of other half. Rail and armature insulators have developed mating surfaces. Conducting jumpers are mounted on armature insulator for shifting within plane of rail pairs perpendicular to armature movement. EFFECT: improved reliability. 9 dwg
