PROCEDURE FOR REALIZATION OF ELECTRIC CONTACT BETWEEN CONDUCTORS Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: given procedure refers to methods for realization of electric contact between group of current leads and group of electric straps. Given technical decision can be predominantly realized in heavy-current electric circuits with current value 10⁵-10⁶A. Procedure for realization of electric contact between even number of pairs of conductors electrically insulated one from another and electric straps installed one above another and each designed to close corresponding pair of conductors lies in preliminary making of pair of conductors by straps, in transmission of current over pairs of conductors through proper strap. Novelty of given invention consists in transmission of electric current over all straps in one direction, in attraction of one strap to another by common magnetic field of all straps and in pressing of each strap by that against contact surfaces of corresponding pairs of conductors in direction of action of electromagnetic force. EFFECT: reduced mass and simplified design of electric straps for realization of proposed procedure. 1 dwg
