FIELD: high-pressure technique; building up hydrogen pressure in definite volume ≥1000 MPa followed by study of hydrogen strength of material. SUBSTANCE: proposed plant includes bottle filled with metal hydride and connected with high-pressure vessel by means of pipe line, cooling and heating systems located respectively on and under high-pressure vessel; plant is additionally provided with auxiliary heating chamber in which bottle is placed; ratio of part of bottle immersed in chamber to height of this chamber shall be no less than or equal to 1:2. EFFECT: possibility of building up pressure of hydrogen of ≥1000 MPa at reduced cost and overall dimensions of plant. 1 dwg
