GEAR MEASURING FLOW RATE OF GAS-SATURATED LIQUID Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: measurement of content of liquid and gaseous fractions in oil-gas-water mixtures. SUBSTANCE: gear has hydrocyclone separator that includes leak-proof vessel with inlet and outlet hydraulic ducts and gas duct, shut-off mechanisms and flowmeters installed in outlet hydraulic and gas ducts. Leak-proof vessel houses barrel whose wall has holes. Walls of barrel and vessel form cylindrical circular clearance. Bottom of barrel is bell-shaped and is located on side of inlet hydraulic duct. Water level gauge is placed inside barrel. Additional hydraulic duct is located in bottom part of leak- proof vessel and is used for discharge of water from it. Inlet hole of outlet hydraulic duct is arranged at level of 0.2-0.3 height of vessel. EFFECT: gear displays increased reliability and simplicity of running, increases accuracy of metering of flow rate of oil from well owing to additional separation of paraffin-resin components. 4 cl, 1 dwg
