METHOD OF PRODUCTION OF SPECIAL VODKA Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: liqueur and vodka industry. SUBSTANCE: method involves preparing an aqueous-spirituous solution (proof is 40%). Prepared solution is stirred thoroughly and after control of its proof is repumped into supply tank followed by feeding on carbon-cleansing battery. The rate of an aqueous-spirituous solution filtration is up to 40 dal/h for fresh carbon and up to 30 dal/h for regenerated carbon. Filtered off vodka is fed into finishing tank. Ginseng tincture is filtered preliminary. Ascorbic acid dissolved in purified water and sugar as an aqueous solution or sugar syrup (concentration is 65.8%) are added to filtrate, kept for 20-30 min and divided for two equal parts. One part is added at stirring into finishing tank, filtered and the second part of the kept component mixture is added and fed to pouring. Ready vodka has the following ratio of components, kg/1000 dal: ascorbic acid, 0.09-0.15; sugar, 17-19 and also, l: ginseng tincture, 0.9-1.3; an aqueous- -spirituous solution prepared of rectified ethyl alcohol of the highest purification degree and purified drinking water to obtain proof 40% in ready product. Obtained vodka is enriched with the complex of biologically active substances. Vodka has the pleasant taste and aroma with barely detected almond tint.
