METHOD OF VODKA PRODUCTION Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: liqueur and vodka industry. SUBSTANCE: method involves preparing an aqueous-spirituous solution to obtain ready vodka with proof 40% using rectified ethyl alcohol of the highest purity and purified drinking water with hardness value up to 0.2 mole/m³. Obtained aqueous-spirituous solution is stirred thoroughly and after correction to required proof is repumped into supple tank and then to carbon-cleansing battery. Filtration rate of aqueous-spirituous solution through carbon layer (height is 4 m) is up to 40 dal/h for fresh carbon and up to 30 dal/h for regenerated one. Calculated amount of snowdon rose liquid extract is dissolved in small amount of vodka and added into finishing tank. Honey is diluted preliminary in purified water in the ratio 1:5, stirred, brought about to the boiling point, filtered, cooled and filtrate is added into finishing tank after addition of snowdon rose extract. Tank content is stirred thoroughly, calculated amount of natural product of plant origin ameliorant "AMO-97" preliminary dissolved in small amount of vodka is added, stirred, proof is corrected if necessary, filtered and fed to pouring. Ready vodka has the following components, per 1000 dal: snowdon rose extract, 0.09-0.15 l; ameliorant "AMO-97", 0.04-0.06 l; honey, 6.5-7.5 kg; rectified ethyl alcohol of the highest purity and purified drinking water, the balance to obtain proof 40%. Proposed method ensures to obtain vodka with enhanced biological and nutrient value, barely detectable honey-nut tint after taste. EFFECT: enhanced quality, broadened assortment of vodkas. 3 ex
