FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: plant has pouring vessel, mold, drums for introduction of two strips, device for heating mold faces, means for pressing strips to face surfaces with inclined upper part. Mold is made with paired vertical faces with possible reciprocation and paired faces with inclined upper part with possible rotary motion. Additionally, pouring vessel is heated and has holes located over perimeter, and rotating grate with holes. End of strips are locked by means of device. In addition, installed on surfaces of vertical faces are sheets from heat-resistant material whose middle part has required profile of surface. EFFECT: increased yield of metal, higher process efficiency and operate reliability of mold. 3 cl, 2 dwg
