FIELD: liqueur-and-vodka industry. SUBSTANCE: drinkable blend is prepared with use of ethyl rectified alcohol and water. Introduced into blend is succinic acid and sodium bicarbonate. Blend is filtered, treated with active carbon, finely filtered, and finished vodka is matured and bottled. Water is used after its softening by Na-cation method to obtain its hardness of 0.1-0.15 mg.eqv./l. Water consists of mixture of drinkable water and mineral water in amount of more than 20% of total water volume. Sodium bicarbonate is dissolved in water at solution temperature of 20-25 C. Obtained solution is held for 15-20 min, mixed with solution of succinic acid, filtered and introduced into blend prior to its preliminary filtering. Introduced into finishing vat is glycerin preliminarily dissolved in ethyl rectified alcohol in ratio of 1:7. Content of finishing vat is stirred for 20-30 min. Finished vodka is held for 12-18 h at temperature of 19-21 C, subjected to final filtering and directed for bottling. Vodka contains ingredients in the following amounts, kg/100 dkl of finished product: succinic acid 0.05-0.14; sodium bicarbonate 0.3-0.7; glycerin 0.2-0.5; the balance, water-alcohol liquid from ethyl rectified alcohol and water to ensure vodka strength of 40%.
