FIELD: printing equipment. SUBSTANCE: method involves generation of laser beam pulses from multiple emitting members of semiconductor laser, which is pumped with electron beam, and sending said pulses to given points of press form surface covered with paint. This causes ejection of paint drops from the points to carrier because of hydraulic-light effect. Printing device has fiber-optical light guides, which send laser beam pulses from multiple emitting members to points of press form surface in order to transfer paint drops to carrier. EFFECT: increased resolution, increased printing speed, improved quality of color printing. 5 cl, 8 dwg
