FIELD: polygraphy. SUBSTANCE: invention provides printing plate having substrate transparent for laser emission with specified wavelength, one of the surfaces of said plate being made in the form of solid solution of substrate material, e. g. glass, quartz, leucosapphire, and material emitting acoustic pulses when affected by laser emission pulses: for instance, metal, metal oxide, or alloy. In order to decrease size of ejected drops, substrate surface located under solid solution is completely covered by deepenings whose adjacent edges touch each other.
