FIELD: printing facilities, methods for manufacture of printing plates for high-quality printing. SUBSTANCE: the method is accomplished by uniform coating of the substrate by liquid material, ejection from the preset points of the layer of this material of drops under the action of the luminous-hydraulic effect caused by laser radiation pulses. Craters are formed at the place of the ejected drops, their bases are positioned on the substrate. The relief so obtained is fixed by ultraviolet radiation. EFFECT: avoided complicated and expensive processing of the printing plate substrate and removal of liquid material from the spaces between the deepenings on its surface before hardening of this material. 5 cl, 2 dwg
