FIELD: chemistry. SUBSTANCE: process deals with preparation of samples to conduct chemical analysis for content of toxic elements in objects carrying organic substances. Proposed process is based on mineralization of analyzed sample by its boiling in closed space in presence of concentrated nitric acid, on boiling of analyzed sample in space closed tight with use of SHF radiation under positive pressure with addition of concentrated hydrogen peroxide. Device for realization of process includes closed space mounted in device for boiling and manufactured in the form of leak-tight container fitted with safety valve. Device for boiling has commutation unit, magnetron, power unit with step- up transformer and control unit incorporating rectifier, synchronization unit, microcontroller, information input unit and information display with proper couplings. EFFECT: reduced time of preparation and completeness of decomposition of samples for their subsequent chemical analysis. 5 cl, 8 dwg
