FIELD: medicine; medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has substrate and a set of discrete reaction sites. Each discrete reaction site has ligand bound to the substrate surface with covalent link. Substrate surface areas located between reaction sites are inert relative to an analyte. The device is produced by means of process including activation of the whole substrate surface mentioned. Hydrophobic properties are created on the substrate surface areas located between reaction sites by means of a number of ligands applied. A set of ligands is fixed on the discrete surface areas in water so that this ligand set is not placed on the hydrophobic sites between reaction sites.
