SUBSTANCE: mechanism for moving cathode along reflector is in the form of solenoid with core, levers and tie rods. One tie rod is joined with core. Separator is in the form of sleeve with slits and it is arranged between outer wall of reflector and housing of apparatus. Fluid-tight cover has inner flange and outer flange joined with housing and corrugated diaphragm. Unit for common motion of electrodes is in the form of cylindrical block with cantilever part mounted on inner flange of cover with possibility of motion. Inside said block are arranged: rigidly secured to block electrode holder of anode and rigidly secured to block through said cantilever part electrode holder of cathode. Reflector has cylindrical outer surface. Cathode has in its mean zone thickened cone portion for engaging with cone surface of electrode holder.
