FIELD: storage of agricultural product in sugar beet plants. SUBSTANCE: method involves laying sugar beet roots in storage pit and mounting laser and electromagnetic field emitter near storage pit so that maximum number of magnetic induction lines of electromagnetic field permeated through the volume of beet mass; exposing roots during storage prior to processing to electromagnetic field of extremely low-frequency band of 3-30 Hz for 40 min, with following exposure to laser radiation of 610-680 nanometers. Method allows sugar losses in roots to be reduced during storage. EFFECT: increased sugar yield during processing at sugar beet plants. 1 dwg
