Abstract RU 2172520 C2

FIELD: systems for parking vehicles. SUBSTANCE: parking system has transceiver device for each user and additional unit that may be connected to transceiver device only to ensure its communication with central computer. Additional unit incorporates identifying labels that may be scanned outside of vehicle and has microcontroller, memory device, and timer. Upon parking a vehicle transceiver is used to receive vehicle parking enable signal and parking enable time from computer. Then parking legality indicating signal is displayed and parking enable time is counted backward until this time is expired or until vehicle leaves parking area. In case communication with computer fails, additional unit carries out anticipated parking procedure, saves respective data in buffer memory device, and later on transmits this data to computer for verification and recording. Computer conveys data on each parking to State Authorities to levy parking fees. Mobile phones, message recorders, pagers, private alarms, and vehicle locating units exemplify transceiver devices. When vehicle locating unit is used, data on vehicle location is conveyed to central computer from vehicle location control center and central computer functions to check for vehicle location and to execute parking procedure.
