FIELD: medicine, particularly, forensic medical examination; applicable in identification of person by separate segments of body, frequently, single objects of medicocriminal examination. SUBSTANCE: parts of dismembered dead body are measured by flexible metal rule and sliding calipers and by combination of diagnostically significant metric features of body part remains and substitution of their quantitative characteristics into formulas corresponding to concrete examination situation (about 250 versions) and according to these formulas person age, length and weight of body, circumference of head and breast, length of foot and hand are determined. Formulas present equations of multiple linear regression of type indicated in the invention description.
