FIELD: pulverized-coal burners; lighting up and stabilization of burning. SUBSTANCE: device has fuel-feed pipe coupled with pulverized-coal source and equipped with channel to supply compressed air, ignition chamber and plasma generator installed at angle relative to axis of fuel-feed pipe. Compressed air supply channels are made in form of slot cuts in wall of fuel-feed pipe over its perimeter. They are oriented at angle relative to axis of fuel-feed pipe and are arranged before plasma generator from side of pulverized-coal source.
