Abstract RU 2216691 C2

FIELD: ignition and stabilization of burning of pulverized coal burners. SUBSTANCE: facility to ignite pulverized coal fuel has fuel-feeding pipe coupled to source of coal dust by fuel-feeding pipe and fitted with compressed air conduit, conduit to inject controlling air, ignition chamber and plasma generator. Plasma generator is oriented along axis of ignition chamber and fuel-feeding pipe. Conduit to inject controlling air comes in the form of ejector on which longitudinal axis directing ring is put. Adjusting bushing coaxial with longitudinal axis of ejector and outlet hole of plasma generator is mounted in directing ring for reciprocating motion. Outlet hole of fuel-feeding conduit is located in front of outlet edge of ejector. Source of coal dust is coupled to clearance situated between edge of intake hole of ejector and directing ring. Adjusting bushing is fitted with directional chute oriented along its longitudinal axis and coming in the form of fluted protrusion positioned on side of above- mentioned clearance. Conduit for injection of compressed air is implemented in the form of at least two slit cuts in wall of fuel-feeding pipe, oriented at angle of its longitudinal axis. Nearest of them is spaced apart from edge of intake hole of ejector by distance of 2.0-2.5 diameters of fuel-feeding pipe. Each slit cut is divided into sections isolated one from another, conduits feeding air to them are isolated one from another and are fitted with air injection controllers. Distance between slit cuts corresponds to 0.13 diameter of fuel-feeding pipe. Flute of directional chute is open to open part of clearance located between edge of intake hole of ejector and directing ring. Curvature radius of circle circumscribing flute is not less than radius of space adjusting bushing.
