SWIVEL CRANK DRIVE Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: drives of pipe line fittings. SUBSTANCE: proposed drive has output shaft with crank pair which is connected with output end of piston cylinder by means of axle and return stroke spring. Axle is made integral with guides for transversal motion relative to end of rod provided with hole where threaded member is located; this threaded member is engageable with tapped hole available in threaded axle guides for control of output shaft position. Besides that, piston cylinder of drive has piston mounted on rod which is movable along rod. To this end, threaded stud is received by this hole; bead of stud is engageable with piston and its threaded portion is engageable with tapped hole available at the end of rod; other end of stud has flats for wrench; nut is also provided for control of precompression of return stroke spring. Surface of piston engageable with surface of is provided with hole where locking member engageable with groove found on rod is fitted. Provision is made for turn of output shaft in drive. Piston stroke, output shaft torque and rate of operation at definite constant pressure of control medium remain constant. Provision is also made for control of precompression of return stroke spring, thus ensuring preset torque at output shaft. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 2 cl, 4 dwg
