The strain 60-D578 is generated by crossing strains 33-D373 (MAT α pheA10 ade-2-144,717 his-7-1 lys9-A21 ura3-52 trp1-289 leu2-3,112) and 5-D502 (MATa arg6 pho3) and the prepared strain is transformed then with linear fragment of gene PEP4 obtained from plasmid pADP1 and inactivated by insertion of gene ADE2. The use of the proposed yeast strain Saccharomyces cerevisiae 1-6-D578 provides high level in producing human interleukin-2.

EFFECT: improved producing method, valuable biological properties of strain.
