FIELD: lasing physics; effective conversion systems. SUBSTANCE: method depends on reaction between iodine and molecules of singlet oxygen which enables using optical radiation including that of the Sun as radiation source. To this end singlet oxygen is produced by passing current of oxygen whose molecules are in basic state through fulleren mixture which is irradiated by pumping light such as the Sun light. Fulleren mixture composition is chosen so as to ensure that its absorption spectrum corresponds to spectral composition of incident light. In order to obtain maximal efficiency, oxygen flow speed v is chosen from condition v~D3•(σ•t)-1, where D is transversal size of fulleren molecule; σ - is fulleren-molecule absorption section of optical pumping light; t is lifetime of lower metastable triplet state of fulleren molecule in molecular oxygen environment. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of method. 2 cl, 1 dwg
