FIELD: solar-power engineering. SUBSTANCE: cell is proposed to use oriented silicon substrate 110, to dispose all contacts on its underside, and to electrically connect its face side by means of heavily doped slots through substrate. Slots are crystal-oriented and produced by etching; they are arranged in substrate in parallel with planes 111. Efficiency of proposed cell is over 20%.
