FIELD: mechanics; units and parts of gear trains. SUBSTANCE: gear wheel is mainly intended for backlash-free gear trains, and power drives; proposed gear wheel includes two coaxial disks mounted for relative turn and provided with gear rims and loading mechanism flexibly connecting the disks. Loading mechanism has lever with tenon received by hole of one of disks for rotation relative to axis parallel to axis of gear wheel. Member of lever connected with said disk by means of flexible member forms arm of force of reaction of flexible coupling relative to axis of rotation of lever and member of lever movably located in hole of other disk forms arm of resultant force of reaction of this disk. Direction of turn of lever under action of flexible member corresponds to reduction of arm of resultant force reaction of disk and increase of arm of force of reaction of flexible coupling. Arms intersect axis of rotation of lever at different points. EFFECT: increased torque transmitted by gear wheel; avoidance of any increase in overall dimensions; possibility of retaining magnitude of action of thrust member on disks in the course of operation. 3 cl, 5 dwg
