FIELD: mechanical engineering; elevators. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of fastening buckets to belt elevator traction member. According to proposed method through holes are made in belt with subsequent driving bolts from rear side of belt and fastening buckets to belt by means of these bolts. Holes are made in form of longitudinal, relative to belt, cuts, and bolts are driven to flexibly deform the belt in crosswise direction, and space formed by moved aside edges of belt are filled up with adhesive setting mass. EFFECT: increased load-bearing capacity of belt, possibility of use of rubberized-wire belt as traction member. 3 dwg
