SUBSTANCE: invention relates to novel derivatives of 10,11-dihydro-10- oxo-5H-dibenzo-[b,f]azepine-5-carboxamide of the general formula (I) where R means hydroxy- group or group O-CO-R¹ where R¹ means hydrogen atom, alkyl group, heteroaryl group, or R means group O-CO-OR¹ where R¹ is determined above; or R means group O-R² where R² means alkyl or alkylaryl; or R means NR³R⁴ where R³ means hydrogen atom, group NH-CO-NH₂, NH-CS-NH₂, and R⁴ means hydrogen atom, alkyl, alkylcarbonyl. Values of terms "alkyl", "aryl", "heteroaryl" and "halogen" are disclosed in the invention claim. Invention describes also methods of synthesis of indicated compounds, a pharmaceutical composition based on thereof and a method of treatment of convulsant states. Invention can be used in medicine in treatment of some diseases of the central and peripheral nervous system.
