SUBSTANCE: invention relates to improved methods for synthesis of 1a,10b-dihydro-6H-dibenz[b,f]oxyreno[d]azepine-6-carboxamide (5), 10,11-dihydro-10-hydroxy-5H-dibenz[b,f]azepine-5-carboxamide (1), and compound of the formula (6): 
. Also, invention relates to an improved method for synthesis of 10,11-dihydro-10-oxo-5H-dibenz[b,f]azepine-5-carboxamide (2) from carbamazepine by three-step process involving the epoxidation reaction of carbamazepine, opening a ring formed as result of epoxide and oxidation of formed alcohol. Synthesized compounds can be used in treatment of some disorders of the central and peripheral nervous system. Methods show economy and provide preparing compounds with the high yield.
EFFECT: improved method of synthesis, valuable medicinal properties of compounds.
