WIDE-FIELD INFRARED SYSTEM OF CIRCULAR SCANNING Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

Abstract RU 2189049 C1

FIELD: infrared systems for real-time surveillance of objects by their inherent thermal radiation. SUBSTANCE: proposed system includes two IR optical systems coming in the form of IR lenses and corresponding input flat mirrors with drives and angle-data transmitters of their turn mounted on platform rotating around vertical axis. They are mated in turn by optical switch to common N-element detector of IR radiation connected in series with N-channel unit of preamplifiers, N-channel analog-to-digital converter, electron commutator, former of information signal and information transmission channel. System also includes unit controlling drives, former of coordinates and display unit placed outside of platform and coupled to information transmission channel. Technical result of invention consists in enhanced surveillance efficiency of IR system of circular scanning thanks to enlarged field of systematic surveillance along vertical with maintenance of rate of information updating by change of inclination of input flat mirror ( displacement of sight line ) of one mentioned above IR optical system in process of scanning conducted by another IR optical system. EFFECT: enhanced surveillance efficiency. 4 cl, 5 dwg
