FIELD: methods of initiation of catalytic gas-phase chemical reactions. SUBSTANCE: method includes use of reactor vessel in which gaseous reagent continuously passing through reactor comes in contact with solid-phase metal catalytic medium with presence of induction coil inside reactor on side of inlet channel near catalyst and porous carrier ensuring insulation from heat, sparking and radiation between induction coil and solid-phase catalyst. Metal catalytic medium is heated by induction method for activation of chemical reaction. After activation, induction heating is discontinued and exothermal heat of chemical reaction ensures maintenance of reaction temperature.
