FIELD: mining industry, particularly, underground coal mining. SUBSTANCE: method includes maintaining charge of water aerosol with negative polarity sucked into metal sectional pipeline; supply to pipeline metal sections of electric charge with polarity similar to charge of water aerosol. In this case, dust particles stick to walls of insulated from one another grounded sections of metal pipeline. Fine dust particles fail to get into pipeline are suppressed through opening flaps of pipeline due to higher rarefaction in pipeline in direction of working face, and water from water aerosol in its contact with pipeline body flows to bottom of pipeline. Device for said method embodiment has air blower and suction sectional metal pipeline with funnel at working face. Each section has flaps on sides of metal pipeline. Device is additionally provided with an appliance for charging of pipeline body. Charged sections are insulated from one another. As a result, particles of dust and water aerosol are settled on pipeline walls. Constant neutralization of medium after contact of water aerosol with pipeline body provides for collection and removal of used water. In addition, device arrests the finest pneumoconiosis-hazardous dust particles spreading out of pipeline.
