FIELD: powder metallurgy, namely production of aluminium powders and fine powders, possibly in pyrotechnics, chemistry, electronics, power generation. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of spraying melt aluminium by means of air; further screening prepared powder and grinding it in gaseous medium containing nitrogen and oxygen; according to invention using as gaseous medium at screening powder gas generated at grinding powder and containing 5 - 8% of oxygen.
