FIELD: high-voltage pulse engineering; various emitters such as electromagnetic subnanosecond pulse sources. SUBSTANCE: device has pulse voltage charging source, pulse generating system incorporating generation line whose high-voltage current conductor is connected on one end to output of pulse voltage charging source and on other, to high-voltage current conductor of output generation line through peaker-discharger, transmission line connected to load; zero-potential current conductors of generation and transmission lines function as their respective cases; output generation line case is of larger diameter than transmission line case and has cover with hole which serves as part of output generation line case; transmission line case is joined to this cover over perimeter of its hole; high-voltage current conductor of output generation line is made in the form of disk whose edges over their entire perimeter and inner surface of output generation line case form multiple spark gaps; central part of high-voltage current conductor of output generation line is connected to initial part of transmission-line high-voltage current conductor through capacitor. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of bipolar and continuous-wave subnanosecond pulses. 8 cl, 9 dwg
