FIELD: railway transport. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical equipment of rail vehicles with electric traction, especially, to device designed to control process of electric braking of train with dc traction motors. Proposed braking control device contains input signal shaping circuit, traction motors armature current, setting shaping circuit, maximum excitation relay cut-in circuit, first summing device, first reference signal source, differential unit, first amplifier, regulating unit, exciter supplying field winding of traction motors. According to invention, device contains also second amplifier, traction motor field current sensor, functional converter, equalizing amplifier, second summing device, second reference signal source, three-channel switch and matching circuit. Output of first summing device is connected with first input of second summing device, output of second summing device is connected with first input of differential unit, input of second amplifier is connected with output of traction motor field current sensor. Output of second amplifier is connected with input of functional converter whose output is connected with input of equalizing amplifier whose first output is connected with second input of second summing device. Second output of equalizing amplifier is connected through first key of three-channel switch. Matching circuit is provided with input which is coupled with electric train mode setting unit by signal. Input of maximum excitation relay cut-in circuit is connected with output of second amplifier, and output of said circuit is connected with control input of three-channel switch.
