FIELD: road building machinery. SUBSTANCE: invention is designed for compacting road building materials. Proposed roll contains shell with large diameter circular members. Shell is divided into cylindrical sections by disks, is clamped by rods in tuber sheathing and is made of elastic material, for instance, of spring steel. Rods in stressed state are placed into rubber sheathing and are tightly pressed to inner surface of shell. EFFECT: improved quality of compacting owing to preservation of pieces of fractions. 3 dwg
