SUBSTANCE: invention relates to novel ortho-substituted benzoylguanidines of the formula (I) wherein R(1) means hydrogen atom, halogen atom, X_a-(CH₂)_b-(CF₂)_c-CF₃,; a, b, c = 0; one of two substituents R(2) and R(3) means hydroxyl and other of substituents R(2) and R(3) is R(1), respectively; R(4) means C₁-C₄-alkyl, halogen atom; (CH₂)_n-(CF₂)_o-CF₃ wherein n , o = 0, and their pharmaceutically acceptable salts. Invention relates also to a medicinal gent eliciting inhibitory activity with respect to Na⁺/H⁺ exchange containing compound of the formula (I) and pharmaceutical excipients.
