FIELD: power engineering. SUBSTANCE: in proposed method of control of combustion in steam-generating plant at which spatial distribution of temperature and profile of concentration of at least one of products participating in combustion reaction are determined, to provide stable generation of steam at high efficiency and low emission of harmful matter, content of reaction mixture of fuel, air and additional fuel, depending on distribution of temperature and profile of concentration in combustion chamber, is controlled. Thermocoal is used as additional fuel to compensate for "falls" of steam generation. Thermocoal is formed by heat of combustion of main fuel in the same burning devices where main fuel is combusted. Prior to delivering fuel and thermocoal for combustion, they are subjected to complex thermal analysis. Amount of main fuel, thermocoal and air is accurately calculated basing on data on quality of initial fuel and thermocoal and parametric information obtained from sensors of combustion chamber. Device for producing thermocoal is combined with burner for combustion main fuel and thermocoal obtained at destruction from part of main coal owing to heat generated at its combustion. EFFECT: provision of preset generation of steam and regulated harmful matter emission within the limits of range of rated loads of steam generator at changes of quality of supplied fuel. 4 cl, 3 dwg
