FIELD: woodworking. SUBSTANCE: drying process includes loading of wood into drying chamber, its submersion in heated liquid medium in which capacity molten paraffin is utilized and seasoning of wood in it. Drying takes two stages. At first stage free moisture is driven out of wood at temperature up to 120 C to value of 30% of residual moisture under effect of molten paraffin or by convective action on wood with hot air. At second stage bound moisture is removed at temperature up to 140 C to value of 10-4 % and final moisture in wood is stabilized at temperature up to 110 C under action of molten paraffin on wood. In addition rarefaction can be formed in drying chamber while wood is seasoned in molten paraffin. Surface active substance can be injected into molten paraffin in addition. Drying under such conditions takes place under mode of " moisture evaporation from wood by boiling " and goes on uniformly over entire surface of treated wood. EFFECT: increased efficiency of wood drying due to acceleration of drying process with simultaneous removal of internal stress in wood with additional effective protective saturation of it. 7 cl
