FIELD: glasswork. SUBSTANCE: apparatus for introducing molten glass doses into mold of individual section type machine has charging funnel held by means of lever fixed on bushing. Charging funnel is arranged above immovable mold for orienting molten glass doses and is equipped with upper feeding section and annular member having cylindrical part. Feeding section is made in the form of truncated cone. Inner diameter and length of cylindrical part are selected so as to prevent frictional adherence of molten glass dose to mold inner surface, when molten glass dose flows to mold bottom, to eliminate necessity for periodical wiping of mold inner cavity surface with lubricating compound. Method involves introducing molten glass dose into immovable mold of individual section type machine by directing molten glass dose through annular charging funnel, which is held in axially aligned relation above immovable mold by means of lever fixed on bushing for orienting molten glass dose. EFFECT: simplified construction and method, increased efficiency by sequentially introducing molten glass doses into mold, reduced labor intensity and improved quality of containers produced by method. 3 cl, 2 dwg
