FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has is manufactured from biocompatible material. The eye lens has optical lens and haptic part shaped as closed curvilinear figures and manufactured from bendable rigid or flexible material. The curvilinear figures of the haptic part are designed as two pairs of unclosed loops, the loops in each pair are unbent to meet each other, one loop being enclosed inside of the other. The external and internal loops are arranged in mirror-symmetric way relative to the principal axis. One end of each of the loops is connected to lens end face and their symmetrical apices are smoothly transformed into rectilinear segments. The ratio of distance between maximum separated points of the arc-shaped apices of external loops to lens diameter belongs to interval of 1.7-2.5. The arc-shaped apices of external and internal loops are arranged concentrically to the optical lens. EFFECT: high strength of lens fixation. 1 dwg
