FIELD: medical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: device is manufactured as flexible material monolith having bendable optical and haptic parts. The haptic part of the lens is manufactured as two curvilinear diametrically arranged figures belonging to the main plane of the optical part. It has two through slits to allow its fixation on the anterior continuous circular capsulorhexis boundary.
EFFECT: high reliability in fixing the haptic part; reduced risk of traumatic complications; stable lens position in the eye.
