SUBSTANCE: gear to form polarizer from lyotropic liquid crystal includes application unit that displays capability to form oriented film of lyotropic liquid crystal and is mounted for relative translation with substrate holder and plate one end of which is so fixed that at least part of plate surface moves over surface of applied film ensuring additional external orientation action on it. Device for local removal of polarizer film has unit feeding solvent and unit removing formed solution which can control rate of feed of solvent and rate of removal of formed solution securing by that complete removal of polarizer from treatment zone and formation of even boundary of polarizer film.
