FIELD: medicine, traumatology, orthopedics.
SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with arthroscopic suturing complete longitudinal meniscus ruptures of knee joints. With a needle with an eye on its sharp end one should puncture meniscus fragment from inside outwards, apply ligature into needle's eye, then needle should be retrogradely introduced into the joint together with one ligature's end, at desired distance against the first puncture in it is necessary to perform the second puncture in into a cut off fragment by withdrawing the needle with ligature out of the joint outwards. Then one should make a tightening knot that simplifies the technique, keeps material and enables to suture both in horizontal and vertical planes.
EFFECT: higher efficiency.
