FIELD: machine engineering, possibly electromechanical working of materials by means of bond abrasive.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of imparting to blank and to intermittent abrasive disc rotation and feed motion along worked surface. Intermittent disc has peripheral working surface in the form of alternating diamond-abrasive dents and indentations. Electric current is supplied to disc. Each indentation has length no more than half of dent length and its is filled with copper-graphite impregnating agent.
EFFECT: improved cutting conditions, vibration suppression, minimum heating of blank, enhanced efficiency of taking off metal, improved quality of worked surface on which restored envelope with special properties is created.
