FIELD: working by cutting materials with trend for occurring flaws such as burnout and cracking.

SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of working by rolling around different recesses of teeth during forward and back strokes of abrasive-diamond cup-shaped cylindrical disc tool mounted in tool spindle and profiled according to initial rack. In order to enhance efficiency and to improve quality of surface layer, working is realized by means of disc tool having on halves of outer and inner cylindrical surfaces layer of copper-graphite variable cross-section impregnating agent applied onto insulation material. Layer of impregnating agent with maximum thickness is applied onto diametrically opposite zones of outer and inner cylindrical surfaces. Layer of impregnating agent with minimum thickness is applied onto boundary zones of maximum thickness layers. Finishing and dwelling operations are realized after connecting abrasive-diamond portion of disc and worked part with electric current supply source. Rough abrasive-diamond working is performed without connection with electric current supply source.

EFFECT: enhanced efficiency, improved quality and operational properties of surface layer.
