FIELD: metal cutting with use of modern processes of combined techniques, possibly manufacture of wheels with circular teeth from material having trend for flaw occurring.
SUBSTANCE: intermittent diamond-abrasive disc is cup-shaped cylindrical one. Its dents and recesses have two generatrix surfaces for simultaneous profiling of convex and concave sides of teeth. Electric current lead is provided for supplying electric current with safe low voltage to worked gear wheel and to abrasive disc. Recesses of disc are filled with impregnating agent such as copper-graphite alloy; their length is equal to half of dent length.
EFFECT: improved design of disc, enhanced efficiency of working, possibility for making restored envelope with special properties providing enhanced quality of material.
