FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to spark ignition internal combustion piston engines with combustion chambers divided into two and more parts. Combustion chamber is formed by flat surface of cylinder cover, part of cylinder surface and stepped surface of piston crown. Division plane of cover and cylinder block is made at angle other then 90o to cylinder axis. Spaced is divided by ribs of piston crown into wedge-like spacers.
EFFECT: improved antiknocking properties, decreased gas dynamic losses of engine.
