FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: method consists in arrangement of combustion process of piston engine with ignition of air-fuel mixture by means of spark and turbulent combustion of homogeneous or stratified mixture. The peculiar feature of combustion process consists in the fact that for creation of obstacles to accumulation of elementary pressure waves, combustion process is performed in combustion chamber equipped with cooled inserts having tubular cross section and along which cooling liquid is passed.

EFFECT: improved antidetonant properties of engine.
