FIELD: testing or calibrating of apparatus for measuring volume.
SUBSTANCE: method include permanent filling the tank with fluid through flow meter whose error is determined before calibrating for a given rate of filling, measuring level, volume, and temperature of the fluid at several levels. A calibration table is composed with taking into account the counter errors and linear expansion of the tank material from the temperature of the fluid to be filled. The inclination of the tank is measured before the beginning of the process, and after each cycle of batching of fluid inflow and after each cycle of fluid batching. Hydrostatic pressure and density of the fluid to be filled after each filling of the fluid. The level of fluid in the tank is determined from the relationship proposed.
EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of calibration.
