FIELD: packing equipment, particularly for food products.
SUBSTANCE: method involves temporary cutting food product into a number of portions; indicating calorie content of each portion and packing each portion in packing container which gives an opportunity for user to take one or more portions having demanded calorie content. Packing container is divided into several segments along with indicating calorie content of product portion packaged in each segment. Calorie content is indicated by displaying calorie content on each container segment or general calorie content of all product portions. Packaging container for food product has calorie content scale made on side container wall to indicate calorie content of food product inside container.
EFFECT: possibility of indicating calorie content of each product portion to be consumed.
