FIELD: organic chemistry, biochemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to new derivatives of 3-substituted 4-arylquinolin-2-one of the formula:
wherein each R and R1 means independently hydrogen atom or methyl; each R2, R3 and R4 means independently hydrogen atom or trifluoromethyl under condition that R2, R3 and R4 are not hydrogen atom simultaneously; R5 means bromine or chlorine atom; R6 means hydrogen or fluorine atom; n means a whole number from 0 to 6; m means a whole number from 0 to 1; R7 means CH3, CRR1OH, CHO, C=NOH, COCH3 or aryl substituted possibly with one or two substitutes taken among the group consisting of hydroxy-, methoxy-, amino- or acetylamino-group; or their nontoxic pharmaceutically acceptable salts. Invention provides preparing new compounds that are modulators of potassium channels with high conductivity and useful for treatment of disorders responsive to opening potassium channels.
